Background

The purpose of this third meeting of the Xgrain Associates was threefold:

  • To discuss the results of the phase I evaluation of the service.
  • To discuss the criteria for the phase II evaluation.
  • To examine the Learning and Teaching Materials Matrix and review progress.

Sandy Shaw introduced the meeting and thanked everyone for attending. This was followed by a presentation by Ken Waterston of IMRI who outlined the findings of the phase I evaluation. A detailed discussion of those findings took place. After lunch further discussions of the findings continued. Ken Waterston then presented a briefing paper on the phase II evaluation. This was followed by a discussion on the Materials Matrix.
