Information for Portals

The RDN subject portals are a major client community for ZBLSA. This document is a starting point for discussion. ZBLSA will be developed further as portal requirements emerge.

• ZBLSA has a simple HTML interface
• ZBLSA searches a set of targets for the items requested
• ZBLSA supports two modes of response: an HTML response and an XML response for portals wishing to process results before display
• The ZBLSA Rights Evaluation Scheme facilitates light-weight, business neutral authorisation
