ZBLSA HTML and XML responses

HTML response

Results are displayed by ZBLSA as soon as they are available so that no single target can delay progress
ZBLSA displays any holdings information available at the target site along with a link to the target.
Results may or may not be verified.
- Verified results indicate that the requested item is present at the target.
- Unverified results link to the target site allowing the end user to search for the item.

An alternative XML response format is available for portals wishing to process results before display.
Portals may parse, filter or sort results before displaying them.
A prototype XML response format developed for proof-of-concept purposes can be viewed with the following form of request (this shows the XML rendered in HTML, used for display purposes only):

This format is provisional, and is likely to change as the issues become better understood and portal developers identify specific requirements.
